How foolish it is to think that we love only with our hearts. The heart is just an organ with a job to do, a quote to fill. When I love, I don’t want to love with a blood-pumping machine. I want to love with every inch of my body. I will love you with my knees and my fingertips, with my elbows and my collarbones, with my freckles and my knuckles, with my wrinkles and my scars. And I will love you with all the spaces in between. With all my heart, body and soul.
It’s amazing how words take effect on many things. They can make you smile and roll of with laughter. They can make your eyes swell up with tears. They can open up your horizons and see things in a different perspective. But most importantly, words can inspire. Words have the capacity to change a person, an experience, a life. Ever since I can remember, my life has always been surrounded with words, all because of my mom. The moment I learned by ABCs, my mother introduced me to the wonders of reading. The moment I learned to hold a pencil, my mother taught me the significance of written thought. From then on, I have always believed that thoughts are like souls and words are their bodies. Neither can exist without the other. So choose your words for they speak of your personality. You might never know who you inspire.
Happiness will always be our choice. No matter what adversities that may come our way, we can always choose to look at it in a new light.
Show the world that big smile. Laugh loud and hard. Choose to be happy. Start making that choice today!
you know I love you happy person.
To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there’s the rub;
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Good night for now lovies. You know I love you.
My attempts at photography. 🙂
It was nearing sunset and we were just packing up to go home after spending the day at the beach with my family. While waiting for my relatives to finish up, I was sitting at shore with my smartphone at hand.
I suddenly had the desire to capture that “magic hour” and I started clicking on the camera of my smartphone. I just clicked and clicked without really noticing how the photos turned out.
When I checked out the photos at home, I found the photos were better than I expected.
So here it is. 🙂
I remember this photograph was taken during one of our summer trips at Initao. It was at a local beach, an undiscovered piece of paradise. It may not be as fine as the white sands of Camiguin or Boracay, there might not be posh bars and restos around. But the tranquility and innocence of the place is what makes it truly amazing.
Funny fact about the photo: Nobody actually took this photo. We all wanted to be in the photograph so we used the camera timer. Amazingly, the result was more than what we expected it to be! Perfect sunset glow and our silhouettes.
